Recently I learned some devastating news about one of our family friends. Cassidy Clark is a 7 year old girl who was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3. She was diagnosed only three weeks after her mother, Myndi, died after a long battle with cancer. Cassidy has had three bone marrow transplants, andContinue reading “Please Pray For Cassidy”

Franklin Wedding: The Ceremony
It’s wedding ceremony time! I gave my camera to our friend Steve (all 3 bridesmaids have hubbies named Steve) and told him to take as many pictures as he wanted. Well, he sure didn’t disappoint!!! I had over 600 pictures from that day. I’m still not finished editing them all, but here are a fewContinue reading “Franklin Wedding: The Ceremony”
Franklin Wedding: Pre-Ceremony Photos
Elizabeth and Rustin did not see each other before the wedding ceremony as is tradition, but the girls and guys did take pictures separately before the ceremony. Here are a few of those pictures. The wind kept blowing a tree branch in Elizabeth’s face, so Jen helped pull it away. Showing off her hot pinkContinue reading “Franklin Wedding: Pre-Ceremony Photos”
Franklin Wedding: Getting Ready for the Big Day
As usual, whenever I’m looking forward to something, or I have to wake up early for something, I always wake up well before my alarm goes off. Elizabeth and Rustin’s wedding day was no different. I had to be at the salon at 10:30am to get my hair and makeup done. In addition to havingContinue reading “Franklin Wedding: Getting Ready for the Big Day”

Happy Mother’s Day!
Today is a day that our country sets aside to honor all the wonderful mothers that brought us into this world. We wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for mothers. When we’re little they feed us, clothe us, teach us things, and try to keep us out of trouble. When we’re older they’re there to loveContinue reading “Happy Mother’s Day!”
Elizabeth’s Bridal Shower
So the reason I have neglected my beloved blog this past week is because I’ve been super busy preparing for Elizabeth’s bridal shower. This was the first shower I had ever hosted, and I wanted it to be perfect! I spent 3 days making and decorating sugar cookies, cleaning, and baking cakes and cake pops. Continue reading “Elizabeth’s Bridal Shower”
Dad’s 70th Birthday!
Martin (Butch) Pentland is the best man I know, and last Thursday (April 21) he turned 70! My dad was born in 1941, the year that Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese. He was a teenager during the 1950s, and to this day, one of his favorite cars is the ’57 Chevy Bel Air. Continue reading “Dad’s 70th Birthday!”
